Rabbi Yaakov Gifter is a skilled Baal Koreh and teacher. He has taught many of the boys in our community how to lein and instilled within them the desire to continue to lein in the future. He had started to teach my son in person and then due to the COVID pandemic switched to zoom seamlessly. He was extremely patient and thorough. He bonded with my son and was a tremendous role model.

I highly recommend him and this endeavor.

Rabbi Gifter prepared our boys beautifully for their bar mitzvahs.

Rabbi Gifter taught them leining skills and gave them confidence to be able to lein their Parshios.

It is with much nachas that our boys took these skills and continue to lein subsequent to their bar mitzvahs.

Thank you Rabbi Gifter!

We were blessed and fortunate to have YOU as leining Rebbe for our boys!

Thank you for your great patience and highly professional expertise, and attention to all the many details that goes into teaching leining.

Thank you for building their confidence and giving them the skills they need to lein for their bar mitzva and beyond.

Rabbi Gifter is a phenomenal layning teacher!! He taught both of our boys their bar mitzvah parsha. Each time, he taught them so methodically and with clarity, with much kindness and patience. He always communicated with us on their progress and even provided recordings for my boys to review in between sessions. When one of my boys had an especially hard time with kria, he tried different methods to help him with that as well. We highly recommend Rabbi Gifter as a bar mitzvah layning teacher!!

We were looking for a reputable and experienced Laining teacher and all leads pointed to R' Yaakov Gifter to teach our son his maftir and Brachos very close to the actual Bar Mitzvah. B"H our son pulled it off and we are very grateful for Rabbi Gifter's dedication.

Rabbi Gifter is an amazing Bar Mitzvah teacher. He was patient with my son, and helped him to lain a long parsha perfectly. His recordings really helped, and the love he has for his students is unmatched! I would highly recommend him.
